Allan & Harle Eliason Scholarship Fund Annoucement

The Board of Directors of Global Outreach is pleased to announce the “Allan & Harle Eli-ason Scholarship Fund” named in honor of the founders of Global Outreach. The intent of the scholarship program is to encourage and equip recipients to dedicate their personal and professional lives to improving the quality of life for the people of their home community and country.

The scholarships will be for orphans, pastors, and staff members or their children, who are partnered with or in a relationship with Global Outreach. At the present time these would primarily be individuals associated with Congo for Christ in Congo, Feed My People in India, and Samoeng Girls Home in Thailand. The fund will provide for training beyond the high school level to include Bible school, college or university, vocational-technical school or other approved institutions of higher learning that serve to enhance personal, professional, and spiritual development. The scholarship may also be made available for attending a conference or short-term training event.

As we provide for the care and education of orphans and teens in many of these locations, we have become increasingly aware of the need to help equip them for entering adulthood with the means to make a living, support a family, and be contributing members of their churches and communities. We invite you to visit our website at: and click on the link for Congo to view an excellent video entitled “The Future of the Congo.” You will be in-spired as you view the dreams and desires these young orphans have for their futures.

The scholarship fund seeks to develop future leaders who can effectively address the spiritual and humanitarian concerns of their home community and become a catalyst for facilitating change in their respective country and community. We firmly believe that through a careful and prayerful selection process, this program can be an effective tool in furthering the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ and mitigating various forms of suffering in developing nations around the globe.

The success of this program will depend on the prayers, love, encouragement and support of our cherished partners. Please prayerfully consider giving to this potentially lifechanging program. If you have any additional questions, please contact us at our website or by phone at 928.642.3658.
