Renee Reed

President

Growing up as the daughter of Allan and Harle Eliason, Renee has been immersed in missions and ministry her entire life. As the wife of a Navy Chaplain, she has lived and traveled throughout the world and uses this international experience in her work. She has served in various board positions since the beginning of Global Outreach and assumed the office of President in August 2009.

Bill Reed, CAPT, CHC, USN (Retired)

General Director

Bill has almost thirty years experience as a Chaplain in the United States Navy, from which he retired in May 2011.  He holds a Master of Divinity degree and has completed postgraduate studies, receiving specialization in pastoral care and counseling.  During his service years, Bill traveled to numerous countries and developed partnerships with local ministries in a wide variety of cultural settings.  He has special expertise in developing Christian ministers, as well as designing and implementing curriculum and seminars for spiritual and professional development.  He is also experienced in responding to conflict and crisis situations.

Nancy Welch Rodman

Treasurer

Growing up in Arizona and living in Alaska for 33 years, Nancy knows what it means to live in small church communities and be involved in a variety of ministries. When she retired from the State of Alaska and then married Bruce in 2006, she moved to Pennsylvania.  She’s taken short mission trips in the past to Germany, Indonesia, and the Philippines and more recently with inner city youth in Philadelphia.  Nancy received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and received chaplaincy training through the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.  Her son, Brandon Welch, and his dog live in PA.

Julie Reed

Secretary

Julie graduated from Lee University in May 2002 and received a Juris Doctor (J.D.) in May 2005 from Vanderbilt University. She was admitted to the Georgia State Bar in 2006. Julie served as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Ed Carnes from October 2005 to October 2006. She previously practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia and currently works as an environmental attorney in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  Julie is an avid rock climber and enjoys running, hiking and spending time with family and friends.

Kimberly Paroz

Board Member

After graduating from Lee University in May 2004, Kimberly worked for Global Outreach running the office and day-to-day operations.  Upon completing a Master's degree in Biblical Leadership at Phoenix Seminary she spent time teaching special education in Hawaii, and one year teaching at C.S. Lewis High School in Bratislava, Slovakia. Kimberly is married to Chaplain (Major) Timothy Paroz and served as the Director of Religious Education, Youth Ministries at Fort Drum Army Base, New York until June 2011.

James Eliason, M.D.

James “Jim” Eliason, M.D. is a native of north Iowa, and received a B.S. in Biology from Wheaton College in 1984, and his medical degree from the University of Iowa in 1988. After completing his family practice residency in 1991 he served as a family doctor and emergency physician in rural Minnesota and Arizona, until retiring from the Acute Care Medical Directorship of the Northern Arizona VA Hospital in 2019. He and Dianne have been married for 32 years and are blessed as the parents of three grown children. Jim and Dianne fellowship at Cornerstone Church of Prescott, AZ, and are supportive of domestic and international missions.

Earle Shroyer

Board Member

Earle Shroyer has been serving and creating a special market in real estate since 1978. He has the unique job of buying and selling churches or finding building sites for new church construction. Earle has represented over 320 churches in buying and selling. Earle is a Church Real Estate Specialist and holds the designation of Certified Commercial Sales Specialist. He is a member of the local, state and national REALTORS® associations. He has published a Church Real Estate Guide and has been featured on radio and television programs and in numerous church magazines. He served on the board of his local church, and has served on both state and international church committees. Earle is an accomplished musician and singer, having sung in the Army Men’s Choral Group in the Far East. He and his wife, Pat, who have a grown daughter, Jolie, make their home in Peoria, Arizona.

Robert Stevens

Board Member

Robert “Rob” Stevens lives in Dacula, Georgia.  He is married to the former Denise Alexander of Connecticut.  They have three children:  Alyssa, Jordan Isaiah, and Clairyssa. Rob served 28 years active service in the United States Navy.  Fourteen years enlisted and fourteen years as a commissioned officer.  His assignments include submarine service, surface combatants, aviation communities, multiple aircraft carriers, afloat and ashore staff assignments, multiple tours inside the Pentagon, multiple overseas assignments and duty in the Hawaiian Islands.

 

Rob accepted Christ early in his life and has a heart for ministry and missions. He has served in Baptist and Assembly of God churches in such capacities as Trustee, Deacon, Chairman of Benevolence Committee, evangelistic outreach and drama, feeding program coordinator, Lay Pastor, co-pastor, and served on the Board of Directors for the Assembly of God, Hawaii.  While serving on multiple aircraft carriers, he facilitated Bible studies and lay worship opportunities, leading many to Christ.  He also served as lay pastor at LaMaddalena, Italy.  After retiring from active duty and while serving as a defense contractor, he has led and facilitated many Bible studies on military bases and within the halls of the Pentagon.  Rob holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management.

Clovis Barnett

Board Member

Clovis Barnett grew up on the gulf coast of Mississippi and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Banking and Finance.  He came to faith at age 12 in his home church in Ocean Springs, MS.  He spent close to ten years working in the world of finance, first as a loan officer for the largest bank in the state of Mississippi and then later as a partner and the COO of the largest private investment firm in Mississippi.  In addition to his career in banking, Clovis has a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Masters of Religious Education degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in various churches across the United States over the past 30 years.  For several years he served as the Executive Pastor of Cornerstone Church in Prescott, AZ and also served as an Elder and as the chairman of the Mission’s Ministry of the church.  He has been married to Anita for over 30 years and has a daughter, Sarah, and son-in-law, Weston, who live and work in the Dallas, TX area.

Reverend Allan M. Eliason and Harle Eliason

Global Outreach Founders

Global Outreach was founded by Harle and Allan Eliason in March 1986 in response to God's direction to start a world mission oriented ministry.  Harle served as President until August 2009 and went to be with the Lord in March 2020.  Allan was an ordained minister for over fifty years and pastored several churches, holding several leadership roles in missions and other ministries.  Allan served as General Director until he went to be with the Lord in March 2011. The Eliason's training while serving as missionaries in New Zealand as well as other mission involvement has been the backbone of Global Outreach.
