In the February newsletter we presented the need for clean water for the orphans at House of Refuge in Myanmar. On our visit to the home in January we were appalled at the dirty water the children were forced to use. Bathing in it caused many problems with skin irritation for the children. We are thankful to report a new filtered water system is in place and the children have clean water not only to drink but also for bathing and other daily needs.

In addition to the clean water you now see in the pictures, they have added a large water storage tank outside and a smaller water tank inside. The inside tank has additional filters which allow them to use the purified water for cooking and drinking.
This investment in the lives of the children will keep them healthy for years to come.
