An Indian Widow Finds Success With Funding For A Small Business

Suseela was raised in the Feed My People Orphanage in Tenali, India for most of her childhood. When she left the orphanage she married a Christian man and they had a son, Isaac, who is now fourteen years old. After her husband died, Reverend Thomas allowed her and Isaac to return to the orphanage to live for two years. At that time she remarried and had a daughter, Dviya who is now nine years old. After a few years, her second husband also passed away.

With no means of support and left with two children to raise, she once again turned to Reverend Thomas for help. When he shared her story with us, we were glad to help set her up in a small business. Global Outreach provided funding to allow her to open a small store where she sells snacks, rice, and a small selection of groceries. She is so thankful for the opportunity to provide for her children.

Thanks to our supporters who help sustain the Feed My People Orphanage and Reverend Thomas' work, Suseela has been given other chance at life.
