Rear Admiral Robert F. Burt Memorial Fund Benefiting Mango Tree School

The RADM Robert F. Burt Memorial Fund will help fund the building of Mango Tree School, a primary school for orphans and community children of Uvira, DR Congo.

Since the inception of the Congo for Christ Orphanage, education of our 57 children has been of utmost concern. Due to the high cost of public education, most of the children would not otherwise be able to attend school. On September 2, 2013 Mango Tree School was opened with 208 students from the orphanage and surrounding community. Mango Tree School started with the first four primary classes in temporary buildings at the Congo for Christ Center. Global Outreach is now building a six-classroom facility which will be ready for the 2014-2015 school year.

Bob and Evelyn Burt have been long time supporters of the orphans at Congo for Christ. Evelyn has requested donations made in Bob's memory to go towards constructing the new school where hundreds of children will receive Biblical training along with excellent academics.

Your gift to provide a Christian education for these children will be a lasting memorial to honor RADM Burt, a true servant of God.
